Cynophile

I trust dogs more than people. (Simple yet a powerful statement)
Dogs will never betray you, unless of course there's a reason why they must have felt the betrayal.
We have 9 furbabies at home, yes... you read it right, 9! And they are all adorable and loving! I wouldn't trade them for the world. They are not just pets, they are family. A big part of me.

I have 5 Shih Tzu, 2 Dachshund, 1 Domestic Dog / Aspin, and 1 Shiweenie (Mix of Shih Tzu and Dachshund).

Some people find it disturbing, having  9 dogs who lives with you, who in crazy mind would keep their pets in her room or even beside her bed right? Well I do! I know for a fact that they are clean, healthy enough. I consider them as my babies. Babies that are happy enough to wait for you until you get home. Babies wanting enough attention so that they can lick your face. Babies who knows when you're not feeling well and cheer you up. Even sensitive enough than human feelings.

I LOVE MY DOGS. My house is also their home.
For those who will visit, you're just a visitor. So don't ask me to get rid of them. That's also their property and they have the right to do what they like.

They may be some kind of chaos inside my room / home.
Well, I'm happy and they complete me.
They are a part of me, and this is who I am.
You can't change it, just deal with it.

Arf! They are my forever Com'paw'nions.

My Final Piece ♥

“My final piece
We’re born into the world
As just one small piece to the puzzle
That makes up an entire life.
It’s up to us throughout our years,
to find all of our pieces that fit.
The pieces that connect who we are
To who we were
To who we’ll one day be.
Sometimes pieces will almost fit.
They’ll feel right.
We’ll carry them around for a while,
Hoping they’ll change shape.
Hoping they’ll conform to our puzzle.
But they won’t.
We’ll eventually have to let them go.
To find the puzzle that is their home.
Sometimes pieces won’t fit at all.
No matter how much we want them to.
We’ll shove them.
We’ll bend them.
We’ll break them.
But what isn’t meant to be,
won’t be.
Those are the hardest pieces of all to
accept.
The pieces of our puzzle
That just don’t belong.
But occasionally . . .
Not very often at all,
If we’re lucky,
If we pay enough attention,
We’ll find a
perfect match.
The pieces of the puzzle that slide right in
The pieces that hug the contours of our own
pieces.
The pieces that lock to us.
The pieces that we lock to.
The pieces that fit so well, we can’t tell
where our piece begins
And that piece ends.
Those pieces we call
Friends.
True loves.
Dreams.
Passions.
Beliefs.
Talents.
They’re all the pieces that complete our
puzzles.
They line the edges,
Frame the corners,
Fill the centers,
Those pieces are the pieces that make us
who we are.
Who we were.
Who we’ll one day be.
Up until today,
When I looked at my own puzzle,
I would see a finished piece.
I had the edges lined,
The corners framed,
The center filled.
It felt like it was complete.
All the pieces were there.
I had everything I wanted.
Everything I needed.
Everything I dreamt of.
But up until today,
I realized I had collected all
but one piece.
The most vital piece.
The piece that completes the picture.
The piece that completes my whole life.
I held this girl in my arms
She wrapped her tiny fingers around mine.
It was then that I realized
She was the fusion.
The glue.
The cement that bound all my pieces
together.
The piece that seals my puzzle.
The piece that completes my life.
The element that makes me who I am.
Who I was.
Who I’ll one day be.
You, baby girl.
You’re my final piece.”

The Story of Me (Carnage #2)

When your world, your life and all of your hopes and dreams for the future are ripped out from under you, how do you go on?

Death without dying is not only the most painful kind of death, it's also the most painful kind of life and I don't know if I'm strong enough to live it.

I spend my lonely days and nights trying to make sense of what my life has become. Do I have the strength to move forward into the light, or should I just let the darkness take me?

I'm Georgia Rae Layton McCarthy and this is the story of me, just me.

I'm no longer a part of an us, it's just me.
Alone.

- Lesley Jones

I like the first book better. Why?
I got annoyed with George's stubbornness, and childishness.
I mean, while I'm reading this book, i kept on saying to myself "grow the fuck up".
It always left me hanging, thinking when will the character's attitude will change.

But still, I love the fuck out of Tiger! Lol I always hope that they'll end up together since I didn't like Sean.
Well Tiger is mature and Sean is just the opposite.

The Story of Us (Carnage #1)

I love him, from the instant I set eyes on him when I was just 11 years old I have loved him and nothing will ever change that, he owns me, he owns my heart and he owns my body and no matter how many lies are told, no matter how many people conspire to keep us apart, despite the fame and the distance, we will find a way.

"Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry" ... He waits for me to sing my bit. I try to swallow down a sob but I just end up singing through it...
"I said I love you like the stars above, I'll love you till I die"

Carnage is an edgy coming of age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades. Georgia and Sean's story will stay with you long after you read the final word.
An emotional, smoking hot, gut wrenching read.

- Lesley Jones

This is one of the best book that I've read.
It made me ride on an emotional roller coaster (yea, that good)

The book has affected me so much, that I didn't expect the pain, anger, and happiness that will struck in to my heart.

It's full of surprises. and just WOW.

Friend-zoned series by Belle Aurora

Friend-zoned is about how friendship can evolve and be expanded through the test of time. It teaches the readers how can one cope up the attitude of another. It's main purpose is thoroughly understand the different circumstances of each one's life.
It also emphasizes that the best things in life can be achieve through hard work and a little pinch of party and great time with friends once a week. It shows balance between the two main reasons in life, to love and to live.

Intrigue?

Read it. You may get addicted on their friendship cupcakes ;)

Friend-Zoned (Friend-Zoned, #1)

Love Thy Neighbour (Friend-Zoned, #2)

I haven't read the other two series, and I can't wait to get started (well once I already found a good site to download it for free) mwahaha "evil laugh". For now I'm stuck on reading few old books since I'm quite busy at work and taking care of my new born pups. (Well that's a valid reason isn't it?)

Cuss words. A good point made by Kirsten - from the book, Point of Retreat

“Sorry,” Kiersten says to Lake and I. “Mom says the FCC is responsible for inventing cusswords just for media shock value. She says if everyone would just use them enough, they wouldn’t be considered cusswords anymore and no one would ever be offended by them”

This kid is hard to keep up with!

“Your mother encourages you to cuss?” Gavin says.

Kiersten nods. “I don’t see it that way. It’s more like she’s encouraging us to undermine a system flawed through overuse of words that are made out to be harmful, when in fact they’re just letters, mixed together like every other word. That’s all they are, mixed up letters. Like, take the word “butterfly” for example. What if someone decided one day that butterfly is a cussword? People would eventually start using butterfly as an insult, and to emphasize things in a negative way. The actual WORD doesn’t mean anything. It’s the negative association people give these words that make them cusswords. So if we all just decided to keep saying butterfly all the time, eventually people would stop caring. The shock value would subside…and it would just become another word again. Same with every other so-called bad word. If we would all just start saying them all the time, They wouldn’t be bad anymore. That’s what my mom says anyway.”

“Kiersten?” Eddie says. “Will you be my new best friend?”

Lake grabs a french fry off her plate and throws it at Eddie, hitting her in the face with it. “That’s Bullshit,” Lake says.

“Oh, go BUTTERFLY yourself,” Eddie says. She returns a fry in Lakes direction.”

Hey you! Butterfly you. (For Bullies and being bullied)

“Butterfly.
What a beautiful word
What a delicate creature.
Delicate like the cruel words that flow right out of your mouths and the food that flies right out of your hands…
Does it make you feel better?
Does it make you feel good ?
Does picking on a girl make you more of a man?
Well, I’m standing up for myself
Like I should have done before
I’m not putting up with your Butterfly anymore."
(Kiersten slides the sack off her wrist and opens it, pulling out a handful of hand-made butterflies. She takes the microphone out of the stand and begins walking down the stairs as she continues speaking.)
“I’d like to extend to others what others have extended to me.”
(She walks up to Mrs. Brill first and holds out a butterfly)
“Butterfly you, Mrs. Brill.”
(Mrs. Brill smiles at her and takes the butterfly out of her hands. Lake laughs out loud and I have to nudge her to get her to be quiet. Kiersten walks around the room, passing out butterflies to several of the students, including the three from the lunchroom.)
“Butterfly you, Mark.
Butterfly you, Brendan.
Butterfly you, Colby.”
(When she finishes passing out the butterflies, she walks back onto the stage and places the microphone back into the stand.)
“I have one thing to say to you
And I’m not referring to the bullies
Or the ones they pursue.
I’m referring to those of you that just stand by
The ones who don’t take up for those of us that cry
Those of you who just…turn a blind eye.
After all it’s not you it’s happening to
You aren’t the one being bullied
And you aren’t the one being rude
It isn’t your hand that’s throwing the food
But…it is your mouth not speaking up
It is your feet not taking a stand
It is your arm not lending a hand
It is your heart
Not giving a damn.
So take up for yourself
Take up for your friends
I challenge you to be someone
Who doesn’t give in.
Don’t give in.
Don’t let them win.”
― Colleen Hoover, Point of Retreat

from the book, Slammed - One of my favorites

“Sometimes life gets in your way.
it gets all up in your damn way.
But it doesn't get all up in your damn way
because it wants you to just give up and let it take control.
Life doesn't get all up in your damn way because it just wants you to hand it allover and be carried along.

Life wants you to fight it
Learn how to make it your own.
it wants you to grab and axe and hack through the wood.
It wants you to get a sledgehammer and break through concrete.
It wants you to grab a torch and burn through the metal and steel until you can reach through and grab it.

Life wants you to grab all the organized, the alphabetized, thechronological, the sequenced. It wants you to mix it all together,
stir it up,
blend it.”

Let us Travel the world!

When I was young, I'm really fond of reading books.
Then it was gone.
It was clearly gone when I went to highschool, because I started to have friends.
I started to have this so called "social life"
It affected my personality so much, including my studies. (In a balance way though)
Then years passed, college has passed by in an instant.

Now, I'm already working as a Finance Associate.
Something hit me hard on my face, Oh yes. A book! (Some call it, Ebook, PDF or real books - still, it's a book)

I went back on reading Novels again.
Now, I realized.. I wanted to read more.. I wanted to learn more, not only academically but to explore LIFE as I go through these fictions and non fictions.

I realized that I still wanted to study and to learn more.

I wanted to pursue my further studies. ( Hopefully soon)

I want knowledge
I want to gain more
I'm hungry for more.

I want books.

I promise, I won't ignore it again.
I don't want to get bored anymore.

Boring is for ignorance.

And books were never boring. It takes me to different places I've never been before..

It's never to late, hop on and grab a book!

Yes, I'm inspired. I've read a good book! ;)

Brain Freeze

Now I talk less.
Moment of Speechless.
How far I can go?
How will I show?
Come on Brain.
Don't drain.
I'm becoming insane.

Need I to say more?

Just making your eyes sore.
